I am going to give you some photos of me and my brother. Have fun.
Bootlick Standing got 10 award nominations, while much better games like Fire Emblem, Astral Chain, Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Link’s Awakening get hardly none. The western video game media is a joke. Any game that has a big eastern influence in it, will get overlooked. Fire Emblem Three Houses should’ve been the front runner for game of the year, but oh no. The Kojima bootlickers have to give Bootlick Stranding nominations it didn’t deserve. Best game? What a joke. Take Kojima’s name off that game and it would be at a 62 on Metacritic. Geoff Keighley, you and your award show are a joke.
It wasn’t just Death Stranding. Control, another game that should not have been nominated. A bizarre story, but the gameplay is so mediocre and uninspired. But, because the western video game media wants video games to be interactive movies, it gets tons of nominations. Do not trust these award shows. They are all a joke. That includes the Oscars, the Grammy’s and the Emmys. They aren’t good measures by what is good art and what isn’t.
I am glad there has been huge blow-back from video gamers who smell a rat. Gee, Kojima is on the board of the VGAs. Geoff Keighley and him are close buddies. Don’t expect Smash to win GOTY. Don’t count on it. Just sit Kojima up there and have Keighley lick his boots and the video game media to do the same. This is a disgrace and this horrible game doesn’t deserve the nominations it got. A lot better games got snubbed for captain narcissist to get his nominations.
I don’t need to watch the VGAs to see the great new games that will be there. Just keep your eye on You Tube and pages You Tubers like OJX, OBE1 and RGT 85. What little respect I had for the VGAs went out the door when they gave Bootlicker Stranding ten nominations. Do not watch this joke of a show. I will put reviews below showing critics bootlicking Kojima. No game can be boring, convoluted, a mess and tedious and be called a good game. Never trust the VGA or the video game media again.

According to NPD, the Nintendo Switch dominated in hardware sales, with CODMW no1 on sales. Outerworlds was strong at no2 with Luigi’s Mansion at no3. Overwatch and Witcher 3 also did great on the Switch.

Billie Eilish is considered a trailblazer for modern music. The problem with this statement is, she sounds a lot like Fiona Apple from the past. Billie’s new song sounds straight out of the Fiona Apple playbook.
Lyrics: We’ve heard em before. It is a song about how all we ever wanted was right in front of us. It is a tribute to her brother, which is nice, but the lyrics are nothing special.
Music: Not bad, but nothing that stands out either. I hate Bad Guy, but that song does stand out. This sounds too much like a Fiona Apple song called Across the Universe. There is nothing original about the sound.
Singing: Billie’s voice is smooth and the delivery is good. Her singing is probably the best part of the song.
Final Verdict: This is not the worst song Billie has done, but it is not the best either. Billie isn’t a great artist, but she can do some good music when she wants. This song is lazy and uninspired I am sad to say.
This is a list that talks about my favorite artist from 2010-2019. They don’t have to start from this decade, but they have to done at least 1 album this decade. Here we go.
10: Katy Perry, the decade started out great for Katy, but her last album was a dud. Oh well, She had some great songs this decade. Roar is an anthem for strong women.
9: Clint Black, songs like Nothing’s News shows Clint still knows how to tell a story. His new album sounds great as well.
8: Brandi Carlile, a real country artist who sings from the heart and writes with passion. What a great job she has done with highlighting social issues.
7: Kacey Musgraves, she is one of the best writers I’ve seen in a long time. Progressive, smart and fierce. Musgraves can write any man under the table. Biscuits is a highlight for me.
6: Miranda Lambert, with attitude, sass and great writing. Miranda is one of the best. She makes you afraid to make her mad, and that’s great. We can be Friends is a classic.
5: Ashley Monroe, the voice of an angel and writing that pierces the heart. Ashley deserves more attention than she gets. Like A Rose is a masterpiece.
4: Oak Ridge Boys, their Dave Cobb music has been some of the best country music of the decade. They are in their 70s and 80s and can put most acts to shame when it comes to singing. Seven Nation Army is a masterwork.
3: Ariana Grande, such a gorgeous voice and soul. Her songs are vibrant, colorful and thoughtful. She can do some of the best pop music on the planet. Focus is my jam when I want to dance.
2: Vince Gill, a true master. Gill can sing, write and play instruments. His guitar playing is unmatched by most players today and he’s not afraid of taking a chance and singing controversial songs. Nothing Like A Guy Clark Song will send chills up your spine.
1: Lady Gaga, was there any doubt? She has so much range, she can do any type of music well and she can write up to the heavens and sing as well. Born this Way made me cry and made me feel proud to be me. I can’t wait to see what she does next.
How was this decade in music? It wasn’t great, but it was good. The decade started out slow, but the explosion of You Tube and indie artist helped the music industry avoid a dark decade. This ended up being a good decade for music. Let’s hope the next decade is better.

The biggest release of the year is coming out this Friday. Pokemon Sword and Shield. Here is my sales and critical predictions.
Pokemon games do around 82-88 so I think this one will do around 85-88. People will love the new Pokemon, graphics, open world and gameplay. Some will comeplain about it not being ambitious enough.
Smash Bros record is gone. Expect 5-6 million in 2 or 3 days. 12-15 million by year’s end and 20-22 million lifetime sales.
There you go. Will I be right? Or am I off my rocker? Comment below and subscribe to our blog for more fun.

Would you give a game a great score if it was boring, repetitive and tedious? No, but a lot of journalists are giving Death Stranding great reviews. Death Stranding is a 6 at best. Yes, Death Stranding tries to be ambitious, however, it’s not well-executed. A lot of ‘positive’ reviews for Death Stranding have admitted the game is not fun to play. That is the point of video games! The video game media has shown itself for the joke they are. Here are other reasons that make the video game media, a joke.
Flash Over Substance
God of War is the perfect example. Ultra-simple puzzles, dumbed-down combat, and a focus on cinematics over gameplay. Look at the scores for games like Uncharted 4, Spiderman and Red Dead Redemption 2. All of these games have mediocre gameplay, but they have great presentations, and a strong story. The media falls for it every time. Games like Celeste, Dead Cells, and Hallowknight are much better games. They don’t get as good of reviews because they focus on gameplay. I am not saying video games shouldn’t have a good story, but it shouldn’t overshadow the gameplay. It is easy to let a story sweep you up and forget about the gameplay problems. If I wanted to watch a movie, I would boot up Netflix.
They’re For Dumbing Down Games
Monster Hunter World got the best reviews of any MH game to date. How pathetic is that? The game dumbed down the gameplay to oblivion. It took out a lot of classes, weapons, and monsters that made MHGU a great title. When PSP and 3DS Monster Hunter games have more content than a console game, that’s sad. Some critics slammed Xenoblade Chronicle 2’s combat for being too complex. Really? All the player has to do is figure out which elements chain together and you’ll create big combos that will help you defeat enemies. Seems like some gaming journalist doesn’t want to think while playing a game. I would hate to see these gaming journalists have to deal with a Rubix cube. Astral Chain got criticized for having deep combat and Fire Emblem got slammed (by a few) for not being fast-paced. At Least Fire Emblem isn’t boring like Death Stranding.
The whole media is a joke. Sports and political news are a disgrace, but you can add video games to that list as well. I have wanted to talk about this subject for a long time. The video game media has hurt really good games so they can promote more of the same. Especially from Sony. Most of Sony’s first-party games are the equivalent of Michael Bay movies. Loud, dumb, and have flash over substance. There is an uprising against the video game media. It’s about time! They have hurt video games for long enough. Let them go to a deserted island and watch reality shows forever. I want a video game, so I can have an interactive experience with fun gameplay that will make me happy.

According to NPD, and Nintendo Everything. The Nintendo Switch dominated Sept. 2019 sales. How dominate? It had the highest sales total since the PS4 in 2014. That is amazing. This holiday is going to be fire for the Switch! Nintendo is killing it. Luigi’s Mansion 3, Link’s Awakening, Mario Maker 2, Fire Emblem Three Houses, Astral Chain and Pokemon Sword and Shield will drive holiday sales. Plus, the Switch Lite will help.
This proves a few things. One, exclusives are still queen when it comes to moving hardware. Two, single player games still sell, and three, never count out Nintendo. What a comeback, Nintendo is on fire right now. The Switch will easily pass 100 million in console sales in it’s lifetime. What a great time to be a Nintendo fan.
I love it when I find a show that makes me feel good. The Good Place is a show like that. I smile from beginning to end. It is becoming my favorite show on TV. I love it that much. Why? Here’s why.
Kristen Bell is delightful as Elanor, who ends up in the Good Place, (she doesn’t belong there), she is so charming and cute from the get-go. You root for Elanor, even though she’s not a great person. Ted Danson is sensational as Michael or the creator. All the characters are given lots of room to grow, and develop. Each episode reveals new layers to the characters, giving them depth.
There is no heaven or hell. The Good Place is Heaven, and the Bad Place is Hell. Each person is judged by their actions, if they get enough good points, they make it to the Good Place. The story starts simple but gets more complex as the season goes on. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Funny jokes, heartwarming moments, and rich dialogue show how good the writing is. Drew Goddard worked on Buffy, so it’s not surprising the Good Place has great writing. The story has twists, you care about the characters, and the jokes never insult the audience’s intelligence. This is how you write a show.
No show is perfect. Sometimes, there is too much going on in the story. Focusing on one story might be better. Some of the jokes fall flat.
The Good Place is a GREAT show! I cannot recommend it enough. Great characters, wonderful stories, and writing make this show a winner. I haven’t liked a comedy this much since Scrubs.
Grade: 4 Stars, watch this show. It’s a winner!
