Can Audience Scores Be Trusted?

It’s hard to know who you can trust when it comes to audience reviews. As we’ve seen with Captain Marvel and the Last Jedi. Butthurt white nationalist and MRA review bombed those movies down because their little feelings got hurt over movies having diversity and strong women in them.

Rotten Tomatoes is taking a step towards making their audience review scores more reliable. You have to show verification that you saw the movie you’re rating. By ticket, or the website you bought it from. Good! This way, we can keep review bombers to a minimum.

I hope more sites follow this. Too many so called reviewers have an agenda when they review a movie, and that shouldn’t be allowed. If you can’t rate something fairly, don’t rate it. That’s how I feel. Do you agree with me?

Aladdin Reviews Are Mixed!

Audiences and critics are divided about Aladdin. Some think it’s great, the others think it’s a disaster. Aladdin has a 58% on Rotton Tomatoes and an audience score of 6.3 on IMDB.

Will this hurt the box office? Not the opening weekend, but the drop off will be big if audiences are divided. With Godzilla coming out next week, Aladdin could have a weak, short run at no1.

My box office opening for Aladdin, 70 million. John Wick 3 will be second with 28 million and Avengers and Detective Pikachu fighting it out for 3rd.

Avengers Endgame Makes 100 Million in One Day in China

Here we go. Avengers Endgam is out, and it’s already breaking box office records. According to IMDB, the Marvel behemoth made one hundred million in China in one day. I am predicting a 800 million opening weekend worldwide with a 305 million opening weekend in America. May God have mercy on all the employees who work at theaters this weekend. Be careful to not trampled by the hordes of Marvel nerds.
